We can only take on a limited amount of projects each year and as such we try our best to work with clients who best fit our values and approach.

Our first step is to ask a few questions and discover whether we would be a good fit for what you need. 

If your application indicates we would be a good partner for you to work with, our next step is to arrange an initial discovery consultation call/visit.

Our consultations are not free and are designed to help you on your journey whether or not you decide to work with us.

You will leave with a clear understanding of what is possible and what you can expect based on your budget and vision.

All aspects of the project are sent to you for review and sign-off.

Once the initial deposit is paid we schedule the start of our assessment phase.

To begin our design work we will need to holistically assess the parameters of your situation. Focusing on both the physical site and own needs. Our analysis provides a framework of what the opportunities and limitations are.

Working off of our assessment and your design brief, we produce and present an initial set of visual representations of what we think is the best design path for you to take. After reviewing them with you, they are refined based on feedback until we have a set of designs that you can happily accept and are excited to execute on.

The concept is thought out in detail. Materials and plants are chosen, and designs are translated into plans that contractors can quote on and work off of during the construction phase.

We will either produce or facilitate bringing in whatever additional support is needed. Whether that be structural engineers, land surveyors, or a draughtsperson to assist with municipal submissions. If you are already working with an architect we will liaise with them to complete this step. 

Once the designs are approved and complete, we will assist you in sourcing quotes and contractors that best suit your budget and needs.

Material quantities are calculated and all other planning aspects are considered to guide you through planning process.  

We provide input and advice, problem solving and minor design adjustments during the installation process.

Guiding you through excavating, building, carpentry, electrics and planting.

Once all construction work is completed to your satisfaction, the pool will be filled with water and the ecosystem can begin to establish itself. 

First swims are encouraged and you will receive a handover document containing all the information you need to maintain a thriving ecosystem. Maintenance guidelines and packages will also be included.
